The Jasiri Project for teenage mothers in Kibera (Kenya) is an initiative committed to supporting young people facing motherhood in one of Africa's largest urban settlements.
Teenage mothers, in particular, are a vulnerable group facing additional challenges: they must raise their children while seeking to complete their education and find ways to support themselves.
This project offers these young mothers a support network that includes therapeutic support, training programmes, and education in health and entrepreneurship, with the aim of empowering them to achieve a more stable and secure life.
